Brawl Stars has now shipped 52 Brawl Pass seasons since the system launched with Tara’s Bazaar in May 2020. The cadence has changed twice in that stretch — what began as two-month cycles tightened to seven-week ones in 2023, then to a roughly monthly Brawl Pass starting in January 2024. This is every Brawl Stars season — start dates, end dates, durations, themes, and the cadence behind them.
The latest open interval is kept in the table below. Current timing, confirmation status, and the next rollover are maintained on the Brawl Stars season timer.
How Brawl Stars Seasons Work
A Brawl Stars season is a Brawl Pass cycle — a fixed-length window with a themed pass track, a new headline Brawler (usually), exclusive Brawl Pass skins, a Chroma Credit reward chain, and a partial competitive reset. Every season has a distinct theme that runs through the loading screens, in-game environments, and even the meta-progression menus.
Three things reset at the end of each Brawl Stars season. Unclaimed Brawl Pass tiers and any Pass-exclusive cosmetics are gone the moment the next season starts — Supercell does not let you “buy back” old passes. Trophies above 500 on each Brawler get partially scaled down and converted into Star Points, the premium currency used in the Star Shop. Ranked progression (Bronze through Masters) resets on its own slightly different cadence; Mega Pig and other club events also rotate weekly inside the season window.
What carries over: every Brawler you’ve unlocked, every claimed skin and Chroma, your total Trophy count above the 500-per-Brawler floor (as Star Points), all Hypercharges, and Brawl Pass purchase history.

Season 51: Brawl Strikers and the Adidas crossover
Season 51 was the Brawl Stars x Adidas football crossover, themed around the Super Ball game mode set inside a stylized Adidas Arena. The Brawl Pass featured two Adidas skin sets — Super Ball Gene (with Keeper Gene and Score Stopper Gene Chromas) and Super Ball Carl (with Striker Carl and Kicker Carl Chromas) — plus four shop skins: Refereeple (Mythic), Scorekeeper Surge (Mythic), Gridiron Otis (Mythic), and Super Striker Lou (Legendary).
Seasons 22–52 — the monthly Brawl Pass era
Starting with Season 22: Starr Toon Studios in January 2024, Supercell shortened the Brawl Pass cycle from roughly two months to four–five weeks. The new cadence alternates between 28-day “short” months and 35-day “long” months, designed to align Brawl Pass season ends with calendar-month boundaries when possible. Every season in this stretch has been a 28- or 35-day cycle, with no exceptions across the 30 most recent seasons. This is the era that introduced major IP collaborations as a normal pattern — Godzilla (S26), SpongeBob (S30), Subway Surfers (S42), Stranger Things (S44), and Adidas (S51).
Seasons 10–21 — the seven-to-nine-week era
From Season 10 onward, Brawl Stars stepped down from the original two-month cycle to a faster, slightly variable cadence: most seasons in this band ran 56 or 63 days, with a few 70-day outliers when major content (Biodome, Bizarre Circus) needed extra runway. Season 10: Year of the Tiger ran only 49 days because it slotted between a Lunar New Year event and the Spring rollover. Season 20: Back to Ranger Ranch introduced Hypercharges in September 2023 — the biggest combat-system change in the game’s history.
Seasons 1–9 — the two-month era
The first nine seasons established Brawl Stars’ seasonal identity: every cycle was roughly 70 days (10 weeks), with one launch Brawler, one themed environment, and a Brawl Pass shipped in a stable two-month rhythm. Season 1: Tara’s Bazaar was the slightly shorter outlier at 54 days, since it launched mid-May 2020 to align Season 2 with the early-July Summer of Monsters update. Once that alignment happened, every season from S2 through S9 ran exactly 70 days.
Records & Stats Across Brawl Stars Seasons
Longest and shortest seasons
- Longest: Seasons 2 through 9, Season 19 (Enchanted Woods) — all 70 days. The 70-day cycle dominated the game’s first two years.
- Shortest (full): Seasons 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, 30, 32, 33, 36, 37, 39, 42, 44, 45, 47, 48, 50, 51 — all 28 days. The current monthly Brawl Pass model.
- Shortest pre-monthly: Season 10: Year of the Tiger — 49 days, the only sub-50-day season before the 2024 cadence shift.
Average season duration
Across the 51 completed Brawl Pass seasons, the average length is about 48 days. Strip out the modern monthly era (S22–S51) and the older seasons (S1–S21) average 65 days. Look only at the post-2024 monthly cadence — S22 onward — and the average is exactly 31 days. The cycle has compressed by more than half in two years.
Total time in service
From the Season 1 launch on May 13, 2020 through the end of Season 51 on July 2, 2026, Brawl Stars shipped seasonal Brawl Pass content for 2,242 consecutive days — just over 6 years — across 51 completed cycles, with no gap days between seasons.
The shrinking-season pattern
Brawl Stars has compressed its content cycle in three distinct steps. 2020–2021 (S1–S9): stable 70-day cadence — nine seasons across two years. 2022–2023 (S10–S21): the seven-to-nine-week experiment — 12 seasons averaging 64 days. 2024–2026 (S22–S52): the monthly Brawl Pass — 31 seasons including the open cycle. The 28/35-day pattern has effectively halved the gap between major Brawl Pass refreshes compared with Brawl Stars’ first two years.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many Brawl Stars seasons have there been?
There have been 52 Brawl Stars Brawl Pass seasons, starting with Season 1: Tara’s Bazaar on May 13, 2020 and running through Season 52: NanoNoodles. The open interval is shown in the table; current timing is maintained on the Brawl Stars timer.
How long do Brawl Stars seasons last?
Modern Brawl Stars seasons run 28 or 35 days under the monthly Brawl Pass cadence introduced in January 2024 (Season 22 onward). Older seasons were significantly longer: Seasons 1–9 ran roughly 70 days each, and Seasons 10–21 ran between 49 and 70 days. Across the 51 completed seasons, the average length is about 48 days.
What was the longest Brawl Stars season?
The 70-day seasons of 2020–2021 — Seasons 2 through 9, plus Season 19: Enchanted Woods in 2023 — are tied as the longest Brawl Stars seasons ever. The current 28-day model is exactly 40% the length of those original two-month cycles.
Do Brawl Pass rewards carry over after the season ends?
No. Unclaimed Brawl Pass and Brawl Pass Plus tiers expire the moment the next season begins — Supercell does not offer a “buy-back” for old passes. Claimed Brawlers, skins, Chromas, and Pins remain on your account permanently.
Does Brawl Stars reset Trophies every season?
Yes, partially. At the end of each Brawl Pass season, every Brawler above 500 Trophies gets a partial reset — roughly half the Trophies above 500 are removed and converted into Star Points, the premium shop currency. Brawlers at or below 500 Trophies are unaffected. Ranked progression resets on its own separate schedule independent of the Brawl Pass season.
