The Diablo IV 3.2.1 patch notes launch Season 15: Season of Hell’s Legacy, the centerpiece of Diablo’s 30th anniversary, bringing Diablo, Mephisto and Baal together in one season alongside eight new Soul Splinters and a sweeping class rebalance. Biggest nerf: Barbarian Strength damage scaling cut from 1.1% to 0.8% per 10 Strength. Meta impact: Barbarian drops off its Season 14 highs while Sorcerer’s Cold archetype and Necromancer’s non-Blood-Wave builds open Season 15 stronger.
Classes
- Sorcerer core stat scalar — increased from 1.25 to 1.625, with additional buffs to the Cold archetype to catch up with Lightning and Fire buff
- Druid core stat scalar — increased from 1.25 to 1.625, alongside talisman-set quality-of-life changes and bug fixes buff
- Necromancer — broad buffs aimed at builds outside Blood Wave and Bone Spirit buff
- Paladin Divine Lance, Zeal and Shield Bash — gain damage, and several Oaths increase from 80% to 100% buff
- Barbarian Strength damage scaling — reduced from 1.1% to 0.8% per 10 Strength nerf
- Barbarian Two-Handed Sword Bleeding bonus — cut from 30% to 15% nerf
- Barbarian Rallying Cry and Call of the Ancients Madawc damage — heavily reduced nerf
- Spiritborn — loses the Tzic Rune interaction and Aspect of Supremacy stacking, compensated with buffs to Core skills, Potency skills, Paragon boards and unique weapons active
Mechanics
- Soul Splinters — eight demonic gems for jewelry sockets, each granting a blessing with a burden; the Horadric Cube fuses same-type, same-rarity Splinters up into Magic, Rare, Legendary and finally Unique active
- Nine Legacy Uniques — including Stone of Jordan, Leoric’s Crown and Messerschmidt’s Reaver — join the game permanently on both Seasonal and Eternal realms active
- Rebirth — converts an Eternal character into the Seasonal realm, resetting it to level 1 active
- Horadric Post — new account-wide delivery system for seasonal rewards and messages active
Bug Fixes
- Stone of Jordan did not properly interact with Holy damage effects — fixed active
- Leoric’s Crown did not apply Soul Splinter effects — fixed active
- Messerschmidt’s Reaver had incorrect class-availability restrictions — fixed active
